The first and second books were a gift to me for my thirteenth birthday and I read both books in a week. I am in love with these books, even though all the tragedy and death were kinda depressing, its what made the book amazing. And then when Julian died I almost cried but that just proves its a good book. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes deep stories that keep you on your feet

Flowers In The Attic is a profound book that is not for the faint of heart. Though beautifully written, it also grotesque and doesn't hide away from the more morbid elements. Every word packs emotion. You can feel what every character feels. A humble begining, a bitter story, a heartwrenching climax, and a bittersweet ending. Despite it's controversey, I'd recomend this book for anyone with a knack for drama, and a little bit of horror. I must warn you that there are graphic scenes of...Well, Read the book itself. I'm not going to spoil it.
